Why do you cycle?

Because I love the sport.

What do you ride?

I ride a Condor Leggero, I'm lucky enough to be sponsored by a great team and we've used Condor bikes for the last few years. They are one of Britain's oldest bike makers.

Tell me about your favourite route?

It would be something into the Peak District and The Strines, then up over Bamford Moor and Stanage Edge.

Tell me about your best cycling memory?

Either winning the Tour of Ireland beating some of the best pro riders in the world or also maybe becoming the first British guy to win a race for Team Sky, which was the criterium international in 2011.

What do you consider your most important piece of cycling equipment?

My bike as I couldn't go to work without it.

If you could cycle anywhere where would that be?

Out of my front door everyday. There's no place like the Dales, the roads of Yorkshire are beautiful and tough.
