Stocks of my latest children's book, Fidgety Bridget Wrigglesworth, have arrived today so I'm wriggling with excitement.

FBW is the third book in the Monstrous Morals series following on from Fartin' Martin Sidebottom and Black-toothed Ruth Black.

This one tells the tale of a little girl who can't stop fidgeting in class. Her Great Aunt Rose tells her she has ants in her pants and that sets the scene for another monstrous, rhyming adventure.

Bridget is kidnapped in the night by a mob of giant ants which come out of her pants drawer and take her off to work as a slave for the Queen Ant in an ant hill.

Luckily, two friendly ants with North-East accents come to her rescue. One's called Ant and the other's called Dick!

The book is available at Waterstone's, WH Smith's and on-line through Amazon as well as all kinds of other book sites, priced at £5.95.

I'll be signing copies of Fidgety Bridget in the Darlington Waterstone's store between 12 and 2pm on Saturday May 17. Please don't be anti-social. Come and say hello - or I'll be sitting there on my own - fidgeting.
