VIEWERS of a certain age will remember Neneh Cherry, the Stockholm- born vocalist who was the face and voice of 1988. Her smash Buffalo Stance was played around the UK, while her other hits included Man Child and Seven Seconds.
She last had a chart hit in 1999, so there’s a chance her new solo album Blank Project could put her back in the public eye.
As Later Live – With Jools Holland returns for its 44th run, Ms Cherry plays that breakout hit, Buffalo Stance, while Elbow return to the studio for the first time since 2008.
