The world has officially gone mad.
Our story this week about a violent pheasant in Newsham, Teesdale, has gone global.
The Northern Echo told how the nasty bird has been terrorising villagers, chasing school children, and attacking cars and prams in the village.
We sent intrepid reporter Will Roberts on its trail - and breathed a sigh of relief when he came back safely.
But now the story has made it to Australia. It's featuring prominently on The Australian's website as well as Perth Now.
And, don't ask me how, but it's also made its way into the Aston Martin news site.
What's a ferocious pheasant got to do with Aston Martins?
Thank God a lion hasn't escaped.
