The recent exchange between myself and Darlington councillor Nick Wallis over council newspapers continues to attract attention.
Media commentator Roy Greenslade, former editor of The Daily Mirror, has got well and truly stuck in on his Guardian blog.
BBC 5 Live have also been on the phone today asking if I'll contribute to a debate on the subject. Mind you, they wanted me to get up at 5.30am to do it - I politely declined so we're now going to pre-record it tomorrow at a more decent hour.
Given that the intention of the original blog was to generate debate, it all adds up to a good result.
