Morning Readers! I hope you've had a great week and have managed to lose some lbs this week. I have to say I'm really disappointed this week as I've been really good and have stuck to the healthy eating plan but gained half a lb.

I can only put it down to the amount of water I've been drinking as I didn't realise how little fluid I was actually taking in.

I did keep a check on it and shockingly found I was only drinking 2-3 glasses of water compared to the recommended 6-8.

I know I've over compensated this week and have probably been having round 10 glasses per day.

I know my body has retained much of the water and my ankles are quite swollen but I'm hoping it will start to show positive results next week.

I'll be lessening the amount slightly so that I do stick to the 6-8 recommended glasses per day.

Apart from my 2012 version of "Watergate", I know I've had a fairly good week. It hasn't been a perfect week and I know I need to eat more fruit for my breakfast.

I haven't eaten as much as I normally do so I need to get back to basics and do what I did when I started with Slimming World. I have a big event coming up on 30th May so need to get back on track so that I look good in my new outfit.

I was really pleased this week when I went shopping for a new outfit to find that the top I bought was 2 sizes down from my starting size.

Not only that, I managed to buy my first ever pair of trousers and I've never worn trousers for over 20 years.

I also was fitted for new underwear and was pleased to find I'd also gone down 3 back sizes and a cup size which is fantastic. I can't tell you how ecstatic I am about that.

I must mention a serious point here ladies.

If you are losing weight, it's so important to keep checking you're wearing the correct bra size as the correct support can lessen the risks of Breast Cancer.

I nursed my Mum through Breast Cancer and know how tough it can be so I urge everyone to self check, go for your screenings and be fitted properly for a bra so that you do have the correct size and support.

There's Nothing Like A Sunday Roast This week I've been reading an article on the Slimming World Website a about eating out. I know it's something that we all get nervous about as there are so many hidden calories in many menus.

This week they've been talking about eating out at the Toby Carvery. I have to say, my Husband and I loved to go there before we started with our weight loss journey but haven't been since.

It really is a one of the best places to eat out as you can have a good serving of meat so long as you cut any visible fat off. You can fill your plate full of healthy vegetables too.

Just watch out for the Gravy, Yorkshire Puddings, roast parsnips and potatoes and any of the sauces that can be added like mustard, apple, horseradish and cheese sauce on the cauliflower.

If you do have them make sure you count them in as your treats.

If you're following the Slimming World Plan make sure you count them as your syns. If you want to have a starter, why not go for the Melon Jumble.

It's low in calories and makes a refreshing starter too. If you don't fancy the carvery and want to go from the menu, the Salmon dish is fantastic and will save you your calories too.

We don't have to stop eating out just because we're losing weight. It's all about confidence. Don't be afraid to ask for sauces to be served separately, that way you can control the amount you use.

An extra pot won't make any difference to them but without it on the side, it could make a massive difference to your weight loss.

Let me know any tips you have for eating out and how to avoid those pit falls.

Have a great week and hopefully, I'll see you lighter next week, Love Wendy xxx
