Welcome back to the next instalment of my journey to lose weight. I apologise to those of you who have been following my blog that there seems to have been a very big gap since my last update.

Unfortunately we've been having a difficult time since the beginning of December with ill health and also a death in the family which in all honesty has really knocked us for six.

I'm pleased to see the end of 2013 and to finally be able to move on.

It pains me to say that I have gained some of my weight back but certainly not all of it. In just over 2 months I have gained 2 stone of the weight I had lost.

I'm not proud of that and I won't make excuses but I know the stress of the past months have certainly not helped.

It's now February 2014 and this is my new start. Yes I let old habits creep back in but this is the time to get back on track and carry on the journey that I started.

I hope you will continue to follow me and support me as I plod along this roller coaster of a ride. I've seen first hand how difficult it is to keep going.

I need to do this if I want to continue living. There is no quick fix for me. I have to do this through sheer hard work and determination. My journey starts now!

What I've done to get back on track!

1) I've read my books for Slimming World again.

2) I've planned the meals for the week

3) I've written a shopping list so that I stick to it without picking up a few extra bits.

4) I've created a menu with variety so that I don't get bored easily eating the same meals 5) I've re read my blogs to give me the motivation to do this and lose this weight that's been holding me back for too long.

If you've been struggling of late, what could you do to give yourself a boost to get back on track? We're all in this together and should be supporting one another.

I know I'll need all the support I can get. As of next week I'll be adding more recipes. Don't forget to share your recipes too. We can do this if we just get into the right mind set. Are you with me?
