Good Morning to my lovely Readers. I hope you're all keeping well and as they weather turns colder, keeping yourselves wrapped up warm. As I type this blog, I have the lovely smell of Chilli wafting in from the kitchen and it really does smell divine.

I put all the ingredients in the slow cooker this morning so that it will be ready for tea. I must say, a slow cooker is an absolute must especially when the weather starts to turn colder. It's the time of year we want to ditch the salads in favour of Casseroles, Chilli's and Stews. To be honest, I look forward to getting them back on the menu.

This week I had a cracking weight loss. I haven't really been sticking to plan and really needed to get myself back into gear, and practise what I preach. I seem to be great at helping others but sometimes we need to help ourselves too.

I lost an amazing 8lb this week. I went back to basics and even sat in with the new member talk led by Carol our Consultant. The new member talk along with the great support from group members gave me the push I've needed to get back on track with my journey. I've set myself a goal of 2lb for next week so we'll see what happens. I'm certainly going to stick 100% to the plans so hopefully the results will show next week.

What do you all struggle with? Is it lack of will power, lack of organisation, comfort eating or eating because of boredom? I am most definitely a comfort eater. Also, I find if I'm not as organised as I usually am, I tend to fall off the plan quite easily.

I find it helps to plan a menu of meals for the week. That way, a shopping list is easier to put together and also it makes supermarket shopping much quicker. The added bonus is that you're much less likely to stray down the aisles of foods that can be your downfall. Support and encouragement is also the key. I know without my Consultant, Carol and the lovely people that attend the same group, this journey would be much more difficult. Always remember, the support needs to be helpful support.

This week I thought I'd give you an idea of the plan I have for evening meals. It may well give you some ideas for planning your meals too.

Thursday - Chilli with rice Friday - Beef Casserole with potatoes Saturday - Chicken Breast Pizza with chips and salad Sunday - Roast Beef Dinner (with yorkies and gravy) Monday - Beef Stew with Potatoes Tuesday - Chicken Curry with rice Wednesday - Meal Out Why not have a look back over the past blogs and get some great recipe ideas. I'll be adding more next week.

See you lighter next week, Love Wendy xxx
