I have a right to complain

What a country! Try to follow along. Can you imagine an American doctor's office, or anything for that matter, TOTALLY CLOSING DOWN so everyone can "do lunch" at the same time? Common practice here.

Our doctor's "surgery" as they call it in this country, shuts completely down between 1 and 2pm, which happens to be the only time I can get a ride down to get a prescription. Yeah, I could walk down but as this is medication for a bad back, that kind defeats the purpose don't you think? Why they call it a "surgery" is beyond me too. They don't perform SURGERY there so..? (Yes, Parkgate, I'm talking about you).

The smaller drugstores do the same thing , and all the bank tellers basically go to lunch at the same time too. Actually, they call lunch, "dinner" here. I call lunch "lunch" and when I eat at 5 PM that's "dinner". No, here that's called "tea". "Tea" to me is a cup of Earl Grey. But I'm getting off track as usual..

See now, I was in a better mood this morning and then this all happened. So what's a person to do? I got on Boots site to sign up for them to go get the silly prescription for me, and got an ERROR message after I filled everything in. I am now in the process of writing, or attempting to write to their customer service via email. Guess what? The form sits there and goes nowhere. I think it's a vast conspiracy against anyone who has the audacity to complain about anything.

Anywho...I worked at banks and in retail in the US and we always had part time help come in to cover LUNCHES, and they wisely staggered everyone's LUNCH time so there was always someone on the floor working. What a concept!!!!

I can just see it if Fidelity Bank in Allison Park, PA would have shut the doors for an hour. Someone would have "gone postal" and had every right to do so.

Oh yeah, we also normally spell "Allison" with two L's. Go figure. This is all wearing me out. I just got up but I feel like going back to bed. I truly, give up.

My next dissertation shall be on Virgin Media who claim we have "fast" Broadband now. I'd be overjoyed if the email actually worked for a change.
