County Durham Community Foundation has been running workshops for those groups that are registered on Localgiving.com, the online fundraising resource run through UK community foundations to enable local people to make donations to registered and non-registered charities in their area.
Workshop 1 took place last night and covered Fundraising, Social Media and Networking and Workshop 2 ran this evening covering PR & Marketing.
The groups that attended seemed to enjoy them both and they took away templates to use in their organisation which will hopefully make life easier for them.
We really want to get more groups registered on Localgiving.com in time for match periods that are coming up in September so if you are interested please get in touch with Clare at lg@cdcf.org.uk
