I must admit I was pleasantly surprised to see that the UK and France are coming together to draw up a defence partnership.

This seems to make sense and sets an example of how we need to start thinking outside the box to make better use of each other's skills, expertise and resources.

The Foundation has been working with the Prince's Trust now for over a year. One of their schemes for young enterprise awards was under threat and so we teamed up with them to provide a joint service and funding.

The partnership has gone from strength to strength and is working extremely well, enabling young people who want to start their own business to receive essential funding for equipment and training.

Just because organisations are in competition with each other on some fronts, it doesn't mean that they can't work together effectively.
