I know I said I was ‘Blogging off’ for the month of October but I’ve borrowed a lap-top to let readers know of an exciting new shop that’s just opened in Barnard Castle by non other than popular Cockfield lad Phillip Teesdale.

Everybody knows Phillip as our local electrician, ever since he took over his fathers business ‘J R Teesdale’ some thirty five years ago, but now he’s branching out with a new venture selling designer men’s wear from a refurbished shop in Galgate, Barnard Castle.

It’s a brave move in these tough times but, having known Phillip all my life, if anyone can pull it off, he can and by the look of his shop, he seems to know what he’s doing.

All the very best in you’re new venture mate. I’ll certainly be round for my new jeans!
