It’s Jack Darnell’s 87th birthday next Wednesday (21st July) and to celebrate, Jack will be hosting his annual darts knock-out in the Middle House from about 8-00pm.

The event is now in its eighth year and although it is keenly contested by darts fans, a large number of friends and well wishers always turn up just to wish the former landlord - well, as good as! - A happy birthday.

Former winners of the silver cup are:

Kenny Gamack - 2003.

Andrew Crow - 2004.

Steve Blackett - 2005.

Andrew Law - 2006.

John Dalton - 2007.

John Dalton - 2008.

Andrew Pattison -2009.

It would be great to see you there and although you may have to put up with Jacks jokes, I’m sure a good night will be had by all!
