Christmas Eve and snowing hard. However, the Hospice Team has managed to get in and it is business as usual for us over the Christmas and New Year period.
For the patients who will be with us tomorrow and their families we will be providing a full Christmas lunch and doing what we can to make a traditional and memorable day for all.
Inevitably, this will be the last Christmas together as a family for many of our patients and our priority is to do all we can to provide a home for home environment which is particularly poignant at this time.
As ever, all of our work is only possible thanks to the ongoing generosity of the local community.
I wish, on behalf of the whole Hospice Team, all our friends and supporters a very happy and peaceful Christmas and a healthy and prosperous New Year.
