REGARDING the report headlined “Plans for home in garden approved” (Echo, Apr 13).
It’s not at all surprising that this has been approved, as this is all Durham County Council think of – making money.
And that all it’s about, because they know in the long run it will end up a multi-occupant dwelling, and stuff the folk who have lived there all their lives.
It’s bad enough driving up Whinney Hill as it is without more traffic.
The city will come to a grinding halt before too long.
