I WAS much amused at the exchange between Bridget Phillipson, Labour MP for Houghton and Sunderland South, and Theresa May during Prime Minister’s Questions on Wednesday. Ms Phillipson asked Mrs May if she approved of Facebook censoring pages put online by Britain First, which according to both politicians is an “extremist” organisation.

This first hilarious aspect of this is that both politicians are members of parties which took part in the slaughter of a million Muslims in Iraq for no good reason. The House of Commons is stuffed full of “extremists”.

Second, censorship, which is what is involved here, is what Hitler, Stalin, Saddam Hussein and every other self-respecting dictator does, among other reasons because they’re too dim to put counter arguments to what their opponents say. And to add insult to injury, invading other countries for no good reason was what the Nazis did.

So the conclusion is that Westminster is full of not very bright extremists with Nazi tendencies. Or is that too – er – “extreme”?
