I AGREE with your Correspondent (HAS, Mar 12) who complains about the lack of condemnation for those who claim that “all white people” are racist.

Certainly there is nothing wrong with “being white and proud of your history, nation, culture, traditions and values”, although I might question how relevant some of our historical attitudes are to the modern world. We should not hesitate to condemn anyone who labels an entire race or creed as evil, or who preaches intolerance on the grounds of race, creed, gender or sexual orientation, irrespective of who they are.

When it come to this, no group or individuals in society deserves special treatment; all should be treated equally.
