I TOTALLY agree with Marjorie Embling (HAS, 13) about fox hunting. It makes me sick, as do all blood sports.
Such activities include not just fox hunting but also hare coursing and badger baiting (which still goes on round here, so I’ve heard).
Badgers and hares are beautiful and totally harmless animals. As for the allegation that badgers spread TB: utter rubbish that no-one but an organisation as useless, workshy and callous as DEFRA could have come up with.
The wholesale massacres or ‘culls’ of innocent badgers that have ensued are a national disgrace.
