£1.5 BILLION in debt and with a shortfall of £587m for the pension fund (Echo, Jan 16).
Who can allow a business, whoever they are or wherever they may be, to get so far into debt?
MPs, banks and businesses should hang their heads in shame.
If the ordinary individual goes into the red for a small amount, the banks are sending texts and messages to the bank account recipient. If the banks could not send out alarm bells earlier they should be made accountable for allowing the debt of this big company to get so large.
