IF we want to solve cocaine and heroin addiction, can we here in the UK with a drug called ibogaine?

It is a psychedelic drug, said to cure the craving addicts have for the heroin and cocaine with one simple dose costing £2.50.

Addicts in Canada, Mexico and the Netherlands are allowed to take ibogaine as a cure for addiction. Ibogaine is also said to cure the addiction for cigarettes too.

Regrettably ibogaine does not cure alcoholics.

Do we need to legalise heroin and cocaine before we have tried making ibogaine available on prescription in this country, for the treatment of addicts?
