TOM COOPER (HAS, June 26) tries to absolve the Labour Party from responsibility for the Iraq war by blaming just Tony Blair and the Tories. Hilarious: threequarters of Labour MPs voted for the war!
He also tries to claim that Labour Party anti-Semitism is limited to opposing the Israeli treatment of Palestinians. I suggest he Googles “Labour Party” and “anti-Semitism”.
He will find numerous articles by people of all political persuasions who argue that anti-Semitism in the Labour Party runs much deeper than that.
