WAS I surprised to see Jeremy Corbyn grandstanding on stage at Glastonbury (Echo, June 26)?
Not really. A wily politician he never misses a trick to woo his adoring fans. Just imagine if he had gone on to sing to them.
He would have opened no doubt with the 1973 Strawbs classic You Don’t Get Me I’m Part Of The Union. Then he could go contemporary with a Beyonce number To The Left To The Left before a rousing chorus of his own inimitable version of the Doris Day standard “Hezbollah, Bollah, whatever will be will be”.
Corbyn Does Glasto – now available on iTunes and from all disreputable outlets.
