The UK voted in June last year to leave the European Union
I BELIEVE that in our position on Europe, as expressed in the referendum, we put the cart before the horse.
The terms of our leaving should have been spelt out before the vote. What we did was, in effect, like voting in an election before any manifestoes were published.
We may have a final vote on the terms of leaving, but I think it very unlikely.
