OUR government has paid out nearly £22m in Iraq war claims against the British military (Echo, June 13).

As it was alright for the Iraqis to make claims against our government, I think our troops must have a claim for getting blown up, maimed and killed against the Iraqi government as they were fighting for them.

But as usual they will not be allowed as it seems one rule for them and nothing for our troops.

It just seems unbelievable.
