What was your first car?

It was a Fiat 127, second hand, in burgundy. My Dad gave it to me when I was 19. I just remember thinking this is more comfortable than getting on the train to work, plus I was working as an estate agent and needed to get around for viewings.

How many times did it take to pass your test?

I passed the theory first time and the practical second time. I went to a driving instructor and I think he drove a Toyota.

Who would be your ideal fantasy passenger and where would you go?

Oprah Winfrey, she is such an inspiring woman. We would drive to Lake Tahoe, it's glorious there, spiritual even and one of my favourite places in California summer or winter.

What is your dream car?

I would like a Teslar Model S. Fast but green.

How would you describe your driving style?

Nifty and sporty but sensible.

Tell me one driving anecdote from your past?

What are you listening to?

The Northern Echo: Reggie Yates with Radio 1 colleague Fearne Cotton

I love listening to Scott Mills or Fern Cotton, especially Live Lounge or I sing along to Michael Buble.

What do you drive now?

I was driving a Seat Leon but just sold it as I have been spending some time in LA where we drive a Mercedes C250, but I prefer greener options.
