INSURANCE premiums in Walford must be sky high, so perhaps we shouldn't be too surprised to discover that EastEnders' (BBC1) Mick isn't covered for the damage to the Vic's roof. And as usual, Babe's attempts to 'help' the Carters only land the family in more trouble, prompting Johnny and Shirley to confront her.

Whitney is also feeling the pinch, but still manages to scrape the money together for a night out for Lee and his mate Beanbag. Sadly, something tells us it's going to take more than a couple of pints to put a smile on her husband's face...

Denise surprises everyone by defending Kim's parenting skills, while Glenda's doting grandmother act comes in for questioning as Jack wonders whether she has an ulterior motive for hanging around Walford. And when he returns from Ronnie and Roxy's inquest to see his mother-in-law's latest attempt to cheer Amy up, the pressure finally gets too much.

Shakil lands in trouble at school, and Michelle decides to help Bex rebuild her friendship with Louise. Should someone with Michelle's track record really be getting involved in teenage dramas?

In Emmerdale (ITV) The Dingles are visited by a mysterious woman, but it seems she's picked a bad time to call - the clan are so preoccupied following last week's events, they fail to notice her presence and accidentally lock her in the barn.

Luckily, Sarah not only spots the visitor, but also realises that she's ill and sneaks some medicine into the barn for her. The budding friendship doesn't stay secret for long as Sarah is forced to come clean after she's accused of stealing - but will the rest of the village be as quick to come to the woman's aid, especially once they discover who she is?

Charity proves that Sarah didn't get her kind heart from her grandmother as she ropes Frank into her latest scam, although their mini-crime spree may come to an end after Chrissie realises what's been going on.

In Hollyoaks (Channel 4) Tony is ready to hang out the bunting this week as Diane comes home, but his wife doesn't want a fuss. In fact, as she reluctantly attends a welcome back dinner party, it seems that all she really wants is an excuse to leave again.

Lily fears she's worked out what's behind Diane's mood after she overhears her aunt on the phone declaring her love for someone other than Tony. Elsewhere, Tom doesn't rate Kim's interior decorating skills, which mainly involve papering the flat in notes claiming that Grace shot Esther. She isn't the only one with a grudge against the club owner as Liam tells Thorpe that his sister is passing counterfeit notes through the Loft till.

Nancy goes head to head with Courtney for a promotion, although Darren thinks she should be concentrating on her health rather than her career, Jack hopes to spend time with Frankie before his sentencing, and Mac tries to reassure Lisa that no one will link them to the hit-and-run. Meanwhile, Cindy and Marnie are on a mission to cheer up Alfie - whether he likes it or not.

We knew it was coming, and it's here at last - yes, in Coronation Street (ITV), it's time for Rosie's return. Like a whirlwind she blows into the street with little sister Sophie, who seems to have made a miraculous recovery while off screen. Kevin and Sally are pleased to have both parents back in Weatherfield, but it isn't long before they're in trouble.

It seems that Rosie has unwittingly allowed herself to be used as a drugs mule, and before long, both girls are pondering what to do with a stash of cocaine they find in Rosie's luggage. Handing it into the police would seem sensible, but this being soapland, that's exactly what they don't do. Meanwhile, Nick and Leanne decide to get married - again. Will it be third time lucky for the pair?

Sinead has her head turned by Daniel, the latest in a long line of Barlow lotharios, and who also discovers that Adam is an exam cheat.
