AMERICAN pop-punk band All Time Low stormed Newcastle’s O2 Academy and it was nothing short of spectacular.

The boys from Baltimore took the O2 Academy by storm, selling out the 2000 person capacity venue in record breaking time.

After support from Waterparks and SWMRS, the stage was set for the band consisting of frontman Alex Gaskarth, lead guitarist Jack Barakat, bassist Zack Merrick and drummer Rian Dawson.

The set was quintessentially energetic from start with the band covering every inch of the stage, jumping off platforms and climbing onto boxes on stage, which was all choreographed in front of a well orchestrated light show.

The night consisted of songs old and new with the band opening with the iconic and catchy Kicking and Screaming from their 2015 album Future Hearts. The band took fans on a journey through their extensive discography playing songs such as Canals, Missing You, Somewhere In Neverland and Weightless.

Frontman and lead singer Alex Gaskarth lead the crowd in song and chatted with them in between songs making the them feel like an integral part of the show.

The band put on a fantastic show and concluded their encore with Dear Maria, Count Me In from their second studio album So Wrong, It’s Right. The iconic pop punk song that the fans all grew to know and love had the room jumping, screaming the lyrics back to the band who gave their all in the closing number.
