Treble joy for The Sherlocks
SHEFFIELD indie band The Sherlocks have announced their biggest tour so far for next year, and there are three shows in the region in Newcastle, Middlesbrough and York.
The hardworking band of brothers, hailed as one of the most exciting new acts in Britain, sees Kiaran Crook (lead vocals/rhythm guitar), Josh Davidson (vocals/lead guitar), Andy Davidson (backing vocals/bass guitar) and Brandon Crook (drums) playing towns and cities often missed off the gig circuit .
This year The Sherlocks, who have drawn obvious comparisons from their influencers (The Jam, The Clash, Arctic Monkeys), supported The Libertines in Bournemouth, played to thousands at Reading and Leeds Festivals and sold out two nationwide tours including gigs at the legendary London Scala, Manchester Ritz, Sheffield Leadmill and The Joiners.
Latest single Will You Be There? has been a hit on BBC Radio 1 and BBC 6 Music and featured on Channel 4’s live coverage of the Formula 1 Belgium Grand Prix. Listen on: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ovb0QTMM62I
