The Sherlocks: Ku Bar, Stockton-on-Tees

BASED in Sheffield, and from Bolton upon Dearne, South Yorkshire, The Sherlocks are lead singer-guitarist Kiaran Crook, his brother and drummer Brandon, guitarist Josh Davidson and his brother and bassist Andy.

Fresh from a summer of festivals, including packed shows at Reading and Leeds, the hardworking band of brothers will play Ku Bar on Regent Street on Thursday, September 22, on the final night of their current UK tour.

This year has seen them support The Libertines, sell out a nationwide tour in February, play at SXSW in Austin, Texas, US, with BBC Music in March, gain BBC Radio1 airplay with single Last Night and sell out the 900-capacity Leadmill, Sheffield, for the second time in June.

In August they played to huge crowds at The Festival Republic Stages at Reading and Leeds and also made their debut at T in the Park in Scotland. On September 7, The Sherlocks sold out for the first time in London at the 800-capacity Scala venue. Dates in Nottingham and Leeds have also sold out.

They are no strangers to Stockon-on-Tees and played the Ku Bar in October 2015. They were part of the line-up at Hardwick Live in 2014. Tickets £9. More at thesherlocksmusic.co.uk
