There's a new fashion Face in the Teesdale town of Barnard Castle

The vibrant market town of Barnard Castle has a number of independent fashion and lifestyle retailers. Now a high street chain has come to Market Place with a great range of casual clothes that are perfect for an active lifestyle.

FatFace was born in 1988 in the French Alps, when two British guys, Tim and Joules, printed some sweatshirts and sold them out of the back of a campervan to fund their lifestyle. Now the brand is known for quality clothing and accessories for men, women and children, and has more than 200 stores across the UK, Ireland and US and an established website.

The Barnard Castle store is located at the centre of Barnard Castle, and complements the town’s independents such as Boho Boo, opposite, which also sells a range of casual clothing from labels such as White Stuff, Brakeburn and Braintree, and Fox & Field, next door to the new store, which focuses more on country casuals, beautiful leather bags and top label wellies, stoking brands such as Musto, Le Chameau and Seasalt.
