RONNIE gets a couple of unexpected visitors in EastEnders (BBC1) this week as Tim arrives to tell her that Hannah has gone missing on the day of her court hearing, and then Roxy suddenly turns up on the doorstep.

The prodigal Mitchell isn't particularly forthcoming about what she's been up to, so Ronnie turns to Glenda for answers, and in the process makes an upsetting discovery.

In the wake of Soph's revelation, Mick persuades Sonia to hear Tina out, but the nurse soon has bigger things to worry about as she heads to her doctor's appointment. Stacey tries to bring Kyle, who used to be Sarah, and his mum, Alison, together, but she ends up wondering if she's done the right thing when Kyle vanishes just before Alison arrives. And the poor woman appears to have travelled all the way from the North-East as well.

Stacey then gets a reunion of her own when Martin comes home – although she's later shocked to learn he was fired from his job, leaving her wondering what exactly he's been doing. Martin tells Stacey he's desperate for money and is soon plotting a scam with Andy.

Ian tries to convince the locals not to boycott his businesses over the Beales' sale, Carmel's other son Shakil arrives in Walford, and Pam is suspicious about Les's behaviour.

It's a sad week in Emmerdale (ITV) as Ashley is forced to break the news that Edna has passed away. The loss hits Sandy hard as he asks why he wasn't told about her illness, while Ashley feels under further pressure when he discovers that Edna wanted him to conduct her funeral.

Elsewhere, after David discharges himself from hospital, Jacob decides to book himself a flight to Portugal – using Pollard's credit card. Charity spots an opportunity when Nicola asks her and Robert to help out at Home Farm, while Chrissie tells Lawrence she wants his DNA sample so she can find out if he really is her father, and is left shocked by his response. Pete returns from prison bearing a letter from Gordon to Aaron – and a job offer in Inverness. Emma is horrified to learn Finn is thinking of going to Scotland with his brother, and resorts to desperate measures to keep them close. Meanwhile, Belle enjoys spending time with Bailey, until she realises she might be pregnant...

NICK has a scan at the hospital, but the results fail to allay his fears in Coronation Street (ITV). As Gail builds bridges with Carla ahead of her son's impending marriage, he struggles to stay calm and frightens his fiancee with a fit of temper. To make matters worse, Sarah leaves him in charge of Harry while she's whisked away for some pampering at the salon, and when she returns home, it's clear that Nick couldn't cope with being left holding the baby.

Steve worries that he's wrecked his relationship with Michelle when she continually gives him the cold shoulder. Both Tim and Amy offer him advice on winning his wife over, and eventually, he pins all his hopes on a romantic meal for two. Todd catches Phelan selling the contents of Tony's flat, and the conman has to do some fast-talking to cover his tracks. Plus, Sophie becomes increasingly suspicious about Caz's "accident".
