Fri, Oct 30: Alan Davies: Little Victories. Middlesbrough Town Hall. 8pm. Much lauded as resident dunderhead on QI, or the charming, but reticent crime solver Jonathan Creek, Alan Davies brings his brand new stand-up show to Boro. £25 or £20 concs. Tues, Nov 10: Al Murray: One Man, One Guvnor. Middlesbrough Town Hall. 7.30pm. It’s now 20 years since the landlord embarked on his one-man mission as the King Cnut of Common Sense. To celebrate, join Al on his hugely popular twice-extended tour. £25.50.
Thurs, Nov 12: Lee Nelson: Suited and Booted. Middlesbrough Town Hall Crypt. 7.30pm. Fresh from "headlining with Kanye West at Glastonbury" and "bribing Sepp Blatter at FIFA HQ", it’s time to see Nelson livet. £20.
Fri, Nov 20: Milton Jones and The Temple of Daft. Middlesbrough Town Hall. 8pm. A new show from the one-liner kingpin and Mock the Week favourite. £24.
Sat, Nov 21: Dave Gorman Gets Straight to the Point* … (*The PowerPoint). Middlesbrough Town Hall. 8pm. The innovative comedy mind behind TV's Modern Life is Goodish, Are You Dave Gorman and Googlewhack Adventure is back in Boro with a new live show. £24.
Weds, Dec 2: David O’Doherty: We Are All In The Gutter, But Some Of Us Are Looking at David O’Doherty. ARC, Stockton. 8pm. As seen and heard on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown and BBC Radio 4’s The Unbelievable Truth, the Perrier winner brings his new show to TYeesside. £16 or £14 concs.
Thurs, Dec 3: Frankie Boyle: Hurt Like You’ve Never Been Loved. Middlesbrough Town Hall. 8pm. Frankie’s Boro show has now sold out, but keep checking back for any possible late returns. £20.
