Time for the Middlesbrough Time Warp

IF you're feeling like it's been an age since you rocked with Rocky, fear not as Middlesbrough Theatre will be hosting Singalonga Rocky Horror Show on Saturday, October 24, at 8pm.

The important thing about Singalonga is that it’s completely inclusive – you join in as much or as little as you want. It’s not compulsory to dress up, but many people do and it really adds to the fun.

There is a 30-minute pre-film show during which the host leads you through a vocal warm-up, prepares you for special moments throughout the film and judges the fancy dress competition. Everyone receives a free prop bag with special items for the “magic moments” that make the evening go with a bang.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show is the Campest Cult Classic of all time and has been given the full Singalonga treatment since 1999.

If you’ve done The Time Warp before, you’ll never have done it quite like this. It's an outrageous, riotous, kitsch, wonderful romp – you won’t have a better chance to let your hair down this year.

Please note that this is a screening of the iconic1975 movie with Tim Curry as Frank ‘n’ Furter, Susan Sarandon as Janet, Richard O’Brien as Riff Raff and Meatloaf as Eddieand. This is not a live stage show.

Tickets £15 and students £10. Box Office: 01642-815181 or 729729 or book online at middlesbroughtheatre.co.uk
