WHILE Max awaits his fate in EastEnders (BBC1), we see whether he'll be convicted for a murder he did not commit or if justice will prevail.

As the pressure builds, the accused makes a decision that could affect everything. Lauren is unsure if she should speak up and tell the truth for her dad or stick to the agreed plan. Meanwhile, on the day of Phil and Sharon's anniversary, he is desperate to get their marriage back on track and makes a deal with Jane to help him win back his other half. Sadly, Jane blabs and it looks like Phil is facing another mission impossible.

Elsewhere, Carol eventually agrees to move to Milton Keynes with Robbie. A year after Linda's attack, Mick realises he needs to be with her, but as he prepares to leave, he is stunned to see her return home from Spain. She insists that she is okay and has a heart to heart with Lee, but he lies when he tells her he will take his medication.

One question is on the minds of the Emmerdale (ITV) locals this week: who shot Robert? Diane and Victoria wonder if a missing Andy could have pulled the trigger, while Chas is concerned that Aaron was the gunman.

Eventually Andy is taken to the station for questioning, and then Chrissie is arrested for attempted murder, despite the fact that Pollard could corroborate her movements on the night of the shooting. Lawrence knows he has done it out of spite because of the helicopter crash. Later, Pollard is amazed when Diane tells him Lawrence has confessed to the shooting. Meanwhile, a stoned Jai is in a foul mood at the factory, and Lisa is concerned about Belle's relationship with Kirin. Eventually they take their relationship to the next level. Elsewhere, Megan is keen to get away before her pregnancy becomes obvious, and Zak comes to the rescue when Joanie's car breaks down and she injures her leg.

While the Platts continue to live in fear in Coronation Street (ITV), Cathy and Roy dine out at the Bistro, but the pair run into a series of disasters and decided to return to the cafe "'for coffee". Meanwhile, Sophie is stunned to see her mum so heartbroken by Tim's reaction to her kiss with Kevin. Rita orders Sally to stop wallowing in misery and sort out the mess with Tim, so eventually she dresses up and goes to the Rovers to show the window cleaner what he's missing. However, it remains to be seen whether he'll forgive her and press on with the wedding. Sally decides that Kevin could be just the way to persuade Tim that there was nothing serious about the kiss between them.

Elsewhere, Yasmeen rages at the injustice of Tracy walking free after the fire, so she decides to go back to the police; Barlow is understandably worried when Yasmeen vows not to rest until she gets justice for Kal. Meanwhile, Fiz and Tyrone are devastated to learn Hope will require chemotherapy. The cost of Ty's family trip to Lapland also proves controversial as Fiz won't be paid while she's looking after her daughter.
