ANOTHER soap wedding, another day that all participants will live to regret. Hadn't they considered TV's Love At First Sight? Over in Emmerdale (ITV), as Debbie's marriage to Pete draws closer, she still can't stop thinking about Ross – and what he's going to do to ruin her big day.

She's right to be worried, because after spoiling the stag and hen parties, Ross then heads over to the church to replace the music with a recording of Debbie admitting how close she came to giving everything up for him.

Meanwhile, Cain is determined that his daughter will make it down the aisle, and bundles Ross into the back of a van ahead of the ceremony. But it looks like the proud dad could be the one to sabotage Debbie's chances of happiness when he accidentally drops her Dear John letter.

There's plenty of drama away from the wedding as Lachlan tampers with Lawrence's medication, intending to pin it on Robert, and Chrissie sets fire to her husband's car at the scrapyard, putting Adam in danger.

Throw in a fair organised by Rodney, and the scene is set for a disaster that comes to a head during the wedding reception, changing life in the village forever and leaving at least one resident with blood on their hands.#

Sarah agrees to babysit Max when Callum has to go out on business, but the day soon descends into chaos in Coronation Street (ITV).

First, a badly beaten Gemma turns up, then Max finds a gun. After Callum eventually returns, Sarah attempts to end their relationship, but her lover has her under his control, warning her not to tell her family about his drug-dealing ways – or he'll implicate Bethany.

Later, on discovering that Callum is single again, Bethany jumps to the conclusion that she's the one he wants...

Carla returns from her holiday, and tells Michelle she lost a small fortune in Las Vegas' casinos. Michelle and Roy join forces to make Carla see the error of her ways – but will their tough love work?

Tim takes Fay on holiday, leaving Sally home alone. She asks Kevin if he would be interested in helping her buy the factory – and they look set to seal the deal with a kiss.

Libby is back in Walford, EastEnders (BBC1), to celebrate her birthday, and Denise wants everything to be perfect, even if it means kicking Shirley out of the house for the day.

Unfortunately, the party still doesn't go smoothly as Vincent nips out to check on the Albert, gets into a fight with Phil about his plans to change the bar's name, and then comes home battered and bruised.

In all the commotion, it seems Libby feels unable to open up to her mum about a secret, while Vincent is left struggling to get Kim back on side – although that doesn't stop him kissing Ronnie later in the week...

Meanwhile, Roxy is trying to conduct her own illicit relationship with Dean, even forcing him to hide from Ronnie in the wardrobe, where he makes a surprising discovery.

Elsewhere, Jane is feeling guilty as Carol struggles to scrape the money together to get Max a new solicitor, and Pam fears her suspicions have been confirmed when she spots one of Les's ties at Claudette's house.

Shirley and Buster are in search of a new home, Shabnam is horrified by the prospect of moving in with Carmel, and Abi wonders where Cora has got to.
