Game for artistic youngsters at Baltic
BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art, Gateshead, summer events are underway with an Art Mix programme for 14-19 year olds.
For teens who have never been to Baltic there is a taster session tomorrow (Tuesday, July 28), which will give them the chance to meet one of Baltic’s Young People’s Programmer, Daniel Lambton-Howard at Newcastle'sGrey’s Monument at 1.30pm. They’ll head down to Baltic for a tour of the summer exhibitions and a taster session where they can get a flavour of activities ahead for their age group.
A week-long summer school runs August 10 to 14 in partnership with Reflections: A Ubisoft Studio and a chance to learn from some of the team behind games like Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, Ghost Recon Wildlands, The Division and Grow Home. Gaming summer school applicants have until today (Monday, July 27) to complete an application form with three simple questions.
Parents and teens can find details of the full programme and the application form online at balticmill.com/artmix
