THERE has been a postponement of tickets due to go on sale at 9am today for Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson's Saturday, November 7, appearance at the MetroRadio Arena Newcastle.

No reason has been given for the announcement and arena marketing executive Kate Smith said: "This is a decision taken by the event promoter and therefore out of our control, we apologise for any inconvenience caused."

Award-winning rapper, entrepreneur, actor and producer, Jackson returns to the UK for a three-city tour in November 2015, presented by TCO and Gee Star, and is an opportunity to see the rap legend with members of his legendary G-Unit collective.

50 Cent is one of hip-hop's best selling exports and one of the world’s greatest rappers, selling more than 30 million albums worldwide. His awards include a Grammy, 13 Billboard Music Awards, six World Music Awards, three American Music Awards and four BET Awards.

He rose to prominence with his first major-label release Get Rich or Die Tryin’ (produced by Eminem and Dr Dre) which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, selling 872,000 copies in its first four days. The lead single, In da Club set a Billboard record as the most listened-to song in radio history, within a week. 50 Cent had similar commercial and critical success with his second album, The Massacre, smashing his own records with the album selling over one million copies in its first four days and staying at number one on the Billboard 200 for six weeks. He was also the first solo artist with three singles in the Billboard top five in the same week with Candy Shop, Disco Inferno and How We Do.

50 Cent is also an actor and producer involved this year in the release of the blockbuster film Spy, with Melissa McCarthy and Jude Law, and Southpaw with Jake Gyllenhaal, Forest Whitaker and Rachel McAdams.

LITTLE Mix will be returning to the North-East at the MetroRadio Arena on Thursday, March 17. Tickets costing £25 and £35 go on sale on Saturday at 9am. The news comes hot on the heels of the singing act's hit single Black Magic from the eagerly anticipated third album Get Weird, due for release on Friday, November 6.

South Shields Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall plus Jesy Nelson and Leigh-Anne Pinnock became Little Mix in 2011. They have sold over seven million records, had two UK No.1 singles and two platinum albums ‘DNA’ and ‘Salute’. As well as a successful arena tour they have been the recipients of both a Cosmo Ultimate Woman Award and a Glamour Women Of The Year Award. With morethan half-a-billion YouTube and Vevo views worldwide, they’ve also become one of Britain’s greatest exports with tours in the US, Australia and Japan – breaking the Spice Girls’ long-held record of highest debut US chart position for a UK girl group in the process.
