THE wartime experiences of famed poets Siegfried Sassoon and Wilfred Owen are explored in a drama coming to the North-East stage next week (Monday, November 3).
Stephen MacDonald’s Not About Heroes draws on wartime diaries, letters and poems to explore the relationship between the writers, as recalled by Sassoon 14 years later.
Produced by Blackeyed Theatre, directed by Eliot Giuralarocca and starring James Howard and Ben Ashton, it will be at the Gala Theatre, Durham, on Monday, November 3, at 7.30pm.
Tickets are £15 for adults, £13 for concessions, £12 for Gala Friends and £8 for school pupils.
