IT’S 20 years since Bush released their debut album Sixteen Stone.

In that time they have hardly been prolific, releasing a further five studio albums during the intervening two decades.

That said, they have sold more than 20 million records and have outlived many of their contemporaries.

Close your eyes, and but for a few subtle differences, you could be back in the heady days of grunge listening to Man On The Run.

Gavin Rossdale’s trademark vocals are as good as ever, it’s just that you are left thinking that while the world has moved on, Bush haven’t really.

Don’t get me wrong, the songs are good examples of their type, ‘The Only Way Out’ is cracking, but as a whole it’s just not very adventurous in either its construction or its content.
