SINGER, songwriter, producer, occasional rapper and all round king of the club banger Example (32-year-old Elliot John Gleave), is set to release his new single 10 Million People – the track has been taken from his top ten album Live Life Living which is out now – on October 5, just prior to visiting Tyneside and York.

"10 Million People was written after watching a documentary on early 1990's rave culture. I found this video online where they were interviewing people at an illegal rave. The guy with the microphone said to one of the revellers, 'Surely this whole rave thing is just a fad'. And the raver replied, 'Well 10 million people can't be wrong'. I wrote and produced the track in a day with Fraser T Smith. It's my favourite song on the album and feels timeless for me. Right at the last minute, I went back in and added a rap at the start just like I did on my previous single, One More Day," he says.

Renowned for his monstrous live sets, Example is set to transform venues across the country into colossal party scenes. "I haven't covered the UK properly for such a long time. The last two arena tours were superb, but we missed some corners of the UK and a lot of people can't travel hours to see a gig, especially on a weekday," he says of the tour.
