TARGET Wrestling, the new revolution in British Wrestling is coming to the O2 Academy, in Newcastle, on Saturday, September 13, with competitors from England, Scotland and Ireland including Saraya Knight, who featured in Channel 4 documentary The Wrestlers: Fighting with my Family, alongside her daughter, current World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Diva's Champion, Paige

Newcastle's Dave Carbon, 30, is rated as one of the best wrestlers to come out of the North over the past decade, Carbon. He'll be taking on one of Scotland’s most exciting high flyer's, Stevie Xavier and a man who is becoming more popular on the British Wrestling scene by the day, Chris Ridgeway.

Carbon, who works for Loss Prevention Security in Newcastle has wrestled in more than 20 matches so far this year.

“It’s the first time wrestling has graced the O2 Academy, so our job is to put on one hell of a show....with me walking out the winner,” he says.

Paige KInight’s brothers, the tag team of Roy and Zak Knight, (The Hooligans) will be taking on Scotland's The Coffeys.

Current Target Wrestling Champion BT Gunn will defend his belt against Johnny Moss.

To mark Target's first visit to the North-East a new show on TargetWrestling.com will be shown at 8pm on Wednesday, September 10, to help ticket-buyers familiarise themselves with the stars and storylines of the grapplers.
