THE Lady Boys of Bangkok are returning to Tyneside with a month-long series of shows, called Red Hot Kisses, from Friday, September 5 to Saturday, October 4, in the Sabai Pavilion, Times Square, Newcastle, NE1 4EP.
This is the 16th UK tour by a production which includes 16 of Thailand’s most beautiful and intriguing lady boys featuring more than 200 specially-designed and lavish costumes – everything from fabulous feathers to designer-inspired couture. The performance features an eclectic mix of musical genres includes movie hits, superstar pop favourites and a dash of country and western added to keep the party glowing. Production numbers move from Moulin Rouge to Flash Dance and Hairspray then, at the blink of a mascaraed eye, the pace changes to tributes to Kylie, Katie, Tina, Amy, J-lo and even Robbie.
Performances are: Mondays - 6.30pm only (no performances on Mon, Sept 8 and 15); Tues to Thurs - 6.30pm & 8.30pm daily; Fridays - 7pm and 9.15pm; Saturdays - 4.30pm, 7pm & 9.15pm; Sundays -4.30pm and 7pm (additional performance @ 9.15pm on Sept 28)
Standard Seats - £24, students £14.50, premium seats - £28, platinum seats - £32.
Friday, Sept 5, all seats £15. Mon 22 and Mon 29, seats two for the price of one.
