WINTER In Eden are a five-piece Symphonic Rock band from Northern England. Since forming in 2009, they have released an EP and two studio albums. Their music builds from delightful symphonic instrumentals to crunching, aggressive metal.
Their debut album, Awakening, was recognised as one of the albums of the year by Sonic Cathedral and Metal Storm. The band were nominated in Classic Rock Society’s Best New Band, Best Female Vocalist and Best Live Act categories for 2011/2012.
Next month heralds the release of the band’s third album, Court of Conscience, which refines the unique style that is Winter In Eden.
The band’s energetic live performances have thrilled capacity crowds in the UK at The Cambridge Rock Festival and Femme Metal Festivals alongside Delain and Revamp. They have also been booked to appear at venues such as The Underworld and The Scala in London. Recently, Winter In Eden took their live show to mainland Europe, performing to expanding numbers in Holland and Belgium.
Darlington guitarist Sam Cull says: “Whenever we came off the road in between tours, we were really hyped and ready to write the third record. Everybody was in the right headspace and the band was tighter than ever, so it was a perfect storm. We jumped in and found ourselves 11-12 songs deep fairly quickly.”
