FOLLOWING the release of her critically- acclaimed chart-topping sophomore album and sell-out appearances in March, Katy B is now preparing for a UK tour in October, which finishes at Newcastle’s O2 Academy.

This year, Katy B has released the singles 5 AM and Crying For No Reason, which dominated UK radio plays and her second album, Little Red, went straight to number 1.

The October dates are Katy B’s biggest venues to date including London’s Roundhouse on October 23. With a bunch of festival dates also in her sights, this autumn tour promises to present Katy B at her best, with an arsenal of new music and a well-rehearsed live show.

  • Tickets are £16 (all tickets subject to per-ticket charge plus order processing fee) and are available from livenation.co.uk or ticketmaster.co.uk

PALOMA Faith embarks on a full UK tour in October and November, which visits York Barbican and Newcastle City Hall. Her single Only Love Can Hurt Like This is released on Monday, May 12. The song is taken from Paloma’s third album A Perfect Contradiction, which shot straight to number two when it was released in March.

Paloma’s benchmark song for the album was Candi Staton’s Young Hearts Run Free: a song in which the lyrics speak of sadness, but the singing of it leaves you feeling absolutely empowered. “I’ve been reflecting on things that have been tough, but I’m almost celebrating that. This album feels like the real me, almost. And in a funny way, it feels like coming home. I’ve realised that learning confidence really makes you capable of things...and that together we can be capable of anything,” she says.
