In order to help you present your best side, we've got a few tips on how to take the best photo of yourself
- Be aware of your background. Don't take a photo in front of a pile of dirty washing
- Don't get too close to the camera. No one wants to see your pores. Aim to have all of your head and shoulders in the frame at least
- But don't stand too far back. We shouldn't be squinting to find you in the distance
- Smile. Relax
- Try to have some natural light. Photos taken inside can often look overly yellow
