MICK FERRY, the award winning star of BBC1's Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow and writer for John Bishop’s Britain (BBC1), is one of the most sought after comics on the British and International comedy circuit.

On Friday, June 30, he will headline a Laugh Out Loud Comedy Club event at York's Barbican Centre, alongside fellowcomics Matt Read and Jake Lambert, and MC Damion Larkin.

On TV, Ferry has starred in BBC1`s Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow as well as Comedy Blue and The Comedy Store (both Comedy Central). He made his big screen debut in 2009 in Ken Loach’s Looking For Eric – a hit feature film at the Cannes film festival where it was nominated for the prestigious Palm D’Or.

He is much admired amongst his fellow comics and has been invited to perform as the official tour support not just for Johnny Vegas but for Sean Lock, Peter Kay, Al Murray and Steve Coogan too.

No surprise then that he’s been voted by Best Live Uk Stand-Up 2013 is part of the team that recently won the Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner Panel Prize 2014.

Sunderland’s Matt Reed made the finals of two prestigious national awards and was hailed as a young comedy prodigy with his arrival on the scene. His affable and often spontaneous style has attracted a large and rapturous following across the UK.

Jake Lambert is smashing the circuit with his combination of youthful charm and quick gags. He is a multi-award winning act who has starred in the ‘BBC New Comedy Award’ and performed on both BBC Radio 4 and BBC Radio 2.
