RICHARD Ashcroft has confirmed an extra tour date at Newcastle O2 Academy, on April 17, and tickets go on sale at 9.30am on Friday January 27 and will be available at gigst.rs/RAsh and ticketmaster.co.uk.

Black Grape have also been announced as special guests. Ashcroft saw out last year in grand style with festival performances at Isle Of Wight Festival and sold out UK shows including two very special dates at The O2 London and Liverpool Echo Arena which saw Ashcroft accompanied by an orchestra and Will Malone.

The Brit and Ivor Novello award-winning and Grammy nominated artist released his album These People last year and spent over five months in the UK Top 200 albums chart since having charted at No.3 in May 2016. Richard will performing songs from ‘These People’ alongside his legendary back catalogue of solo work and with The Verve.
