are going to have a year to remember. Having sold out four Newcastle performances at the MetroRadio Arena in October and November, the quartet have now announced shows at Chester-le-Street and Scarborough.

Scarborough Open Air Theatre has signed up the top girl act for July 6, as part of their 13-date Summer Shout Out tour, while Durham County Cricket Club, Emirates Riverside, Chester-le-Street has announced a booking for Saturday, July 15.

Since 2011, Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall have established themselves as one of British pop’s brightest acts. Last year saw the band capture the attention of UK youngsters thanks to the massive No1 single Shout Out To My Ex, and their album Glory Days, which shot straight to No1 on the Official

Albums Chart. The record remains in the peak position and is the quickest-selling album in the UK charts by a girl group since Destiny’s Child’s Survivor in 2001. It is also the longest-reigning girl group No1 album of the

millennium.
