THE Jet Reds are a new and exciting 4 piece combo specialising in their own unique brand of independent rock whilst drawing influences from the likes of Kasabian, The Jam, Oasis and other great luminaries from the alternative rock scene.

The principle writer and leader of the band Craig Redpath had a chance meeting with noted producer Mike Bennett (The Fall, Ian Brown, The Specials, Kim Fowley & The Sweet) having bumped into him whilst on a weekend on the drink in Manchester with his cousin. Several drinks later the three of them were drinking whisky in Mike’s new flat in media city playing live rehearsal recordings from Craig’s phone.

Two weeks later the phone call came culminating in the recording of the bands first EP, which features many exciting guests from artists such as Diane Charlemagne (Moby, Urban Cookie Collective, Goldie), as well as members from Elbow, The Fall and Snow Patrol.

The tracks have caused a mini-ripple within the indie industry with artists such as Neville Staple from The Specials and Fun Boy 3, pledging to endorse the band and guest on one of their tracks with his inimitable and legendary toasting style.

The group who have supported the likes of Judy Tzuke , Sham 69, The Vibrators , Jah Wobble and many more. The band have also played Poly Fest which celebrates the life and times of the late great x-ray spex legend Poly Styrene.
