Editors have announced a full UK tour for October, including a date in Newcastle.
The tour announcement follows three sold out album launch shows at Birmingham Town Hall, Manchester Cathedral and London Clapham Grand to celebrate the release of eagerly anticipated album Violence.
The autumn tour dates follow a busy summer of live shows for Editors, which sees them play Manchesters Neighbourhood Festival on May 27, support The Cure at their huge BST Hyde Park show on July 7, and headline the Werchter Classic on July 14.
Violence is the sixth album from Editors, and follows 2015’s acclaimed top 5 In Dream. It is produced by Leo Abrahams (Wild Beasts, Florence & The Machine, Frightened Rabbit) and Editors with additional production from Benjamin John Power (Blanck Mass, Fuck Buttons) and mixed by Cenzo Townshend, except Hallelujah (So Low) mixed by Alan Moulder.
